Sean has a diverse background which includes: Real Estate & investing, teaching and being an entrepreneur. Sean has been selling and buying houses since 1997 and has managed a portfolio of investment properties.
He received his B.S. in business in Finance with an economics minor. He has extensively studied Spanish for years including 8 months at the University of Granada in Granada , Spain where he became bilingual. He was also certified as a TEFL professor and has taught English as a foreign language for many years. Martial arts have also played a major role in Sean's life. He studied under 9th degree black belt Grand Master Sun Duk Choi for over 10 years and taught underneath him for 6 years. Currently he studies and teaches under 9th Degree Grand Master Tiger Kim in Denver. During the years of being a student and a teacher Sean developed his indomitable spirit and ability to persevere. Sean specializes in both buyers and sellers looking for homes in the more well-established neighborhoods throughout Metropolitan Denver.

DENVER, Colo. – March 25, 2010 – Sean Gilliland, sales associate with Coldwell
Banker Residential Brokerage’s Devonshire office, helps a Denver area couple maneuver
their way through selling their first home on the HGTV show “My First Sale,” set to air
tonight at 6:30 pm Mountain time.
Shelly and Brian desperately need to sell their tiny row house for their sanity and their
marriage. The one bedroom loft doesn’t have a door, so every night at 8:00, their lives
come to a standstill when their baby goes to sleep. The couple tiptoe, whisper and rarely
turn on the television, just to make sure little Ellie stays asleep.
HGTV has been filming the show in the Denver area since last fall and has been
capturing the stress and success of families as they prepare pricing, negotiating, and
ultimately selling a home for the first time. The show premiered last week and is already
a hit with audiences.

I have been using Denver Real Estate Moguls to manage my one-bedroom condominium in the South Broadway area for the past three years. I was referred to them by my good friend and realtor after going with a large property management firm for a year. That large firm rented my condo to a terrible tenant who did not value my property at all. She scratched the hardwood floors, had her boyfriend move in (the lease was only for one person) and got a cat when we told her we did not allow pets. When I brought up these concerns, the management firm did nothing. What an amazing difference Denver Real Estate Moguls has been! Sean did an excellent job of selecting and screening potential renters. This included doing an income sustainable check to ensure they could pay the asking rent rate. The first renter we had was amazing! He went to the trouble of trying to repair the scratches in the hardwood floor left by the previous tenant and treated it like it was his home. As Sean said, “He was the best tenant I’ve ever had,” and we felt lucky to have had him. (He moved out to live with his significant other.). Since then we’ve had our current tenant for the past two years and she just signed another year-long lease extension. Sean and Tasha take the time every year to do a thorough annual inspection to ensure the property is being taken care of and to nip any problems in the bud – additional roommates, pets, destruction, etc. They have a wonderful online intake system for tenants to report any issues and address those immediately with their repairman. They forward these tickets on to me immediately so I am aware of any issues that come up so there are no surprises. It works seamlessly and I don’t have to do anything – I am confident the issue is addressed in a timely manner and my property is being taken care of. Sean and Tasha always provide sound advice on rent prices and annual rent increases – something I have come to rely on. Because our current tenant is going to be in our condo going on three years we offered to do some painting for her, which is something she requested last year. Because she has been such a great tenant and is staying on, Tasha is getting price quotes for us. I trust that Denver Real Estate Moguls will provide true professionals who will do an excellent job at a fair price. I have been using Denver Real Estate Moguls to manage a growing portfolio of properties since 2012 ranging from a 1 bedroom condominium to four bedroom houses. I am based in Australia so it was very important for me to have reliable management overseeing my properties and treating them like their own investment. Sean and Tasha have gone beyond my expectations. Sean and Tasha are very thorough in screening potential Renters and as such we have had a successful run of tenants since 2012. They also take responsibility for paying the HOA fees, water and taxes. Tasha is wonderful when it comes to maintaining the properties. On two occasions we have had flooding in two of the condominiums and on each occasion Tasha has been incredible in organizing the insurance claim, tracking down the owners of the condominiums that caused ours to be flooded and getting the repairs done in a timely fashion. Thanks Tasha. We will make sure the place is in as good as shape as it was when we moved in. I will work with Alana on the move-out check sheet, etc. I will also forward to you the move in check list that I provided to Graham along with pictures we took when we moved it. I want to make sure and re-iterate that when we moved in there were a fair amount of holes and cracks in the walls/ceiling as well as on the hardwood floors. I will send you that email so that is not held against us on our return of security deposit. We sure will miss this place and it's amazing location.
